Props will important in our piece in order to help the story flow and make sense but also to add to the story at key points. We have discussed the idea of having the child drop a toy or teddy bear and using this as a clear plot point for later in the film, this would also look quite good as an idea for posters or dvd covers. The other props we will use include the photo of the child on the mothers bedside table to establish that she is her daughter. Below are some examples of the type of shot we envisioned for the toy/teddy bear.
